Pathway 1: Getting Started, Intake and Intervention Planning

For families ready to begin. A 1.5-hour literacy observation and planning session, written summary, and parent debrief. Ongoing sessions booked from here. Contact us to find out if this is the right fit.

Pathway 2: Baseline Literacy and Learning Assessment

A comprehensive look at reading, writing, spelling, and executive function using standardized tools alongside observation of how your child actually approaches a task. The report tells you what your child does well and how they think, not only where the gaps are, because the strengths are what we build the plan on. Full written report and dedicated parent follow-up. Ideal for families who want answers before committing to intervention, or who already have a psychoeducational report and need the 'now what.' Pathway 3: Navigation and Consultation

School planning, IEP and IPRC support, psychoeducational report translation, and family guidance. Available as a standalone service or alongside intervention. Individually proposed and priced. Contact us to find out if this is the right fit.

Sessions Through Little Forest Therapy

Two days per week, Tova offers sessions in collaboration with SLP Rebecca Wong Kai Pun at Blue Dot Acres Farm in Burlington. Sessions through this pathway may be covered under extended health benefits. Contact us to learn more.

Tova Vertes

Founder

Tova Vertes, founder and lead navigator of Phenomenal Kids, is dedicated to empowering children and their families. With a background in pediatric therapies, she brings a holistic approach to understanding and supporting the whole child within the education system. Inspired by her love of nature and problem-solving, Tova is committed to making a meaningful difference in every child’s journey.

Dizzy

Therapy Dog Extraordinaire

Dizzy is Phenomenal Kids mascot and resident therapy dog. Dizzy is a beautiful mutt rescued from Florida with a great skill of connecting with people of all ages, abilities and personalities. Dizzy specializes in sleeping through structured literacy lessons, asking for tummy rubs and treats.
